Meet the Founder
Codie Evans
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Codie Evans, founder of Hawkeye Hometown Builders, brings a strong foundation of skill, discipline, and leadership to every project. He proudly served 13 years in the Army Corps of Engineers and as a U.S. Army Drill Sergeant—experience that shaped his commitment to precision, reliability, and excellence.
Originally from Iowa City and now based in Marion, Codie is deeply rooted in the local community. His dedication goes beyond construction through active involvement and charitable initiatives, including founding the Iowa Triple Threat Foundation and hosting nonprofit events.
Outside of work, Codie enjoys spending time with his family, supporting youth basketball, playing darts, riding motorcycles, and staying active outdoors. His passion for both his craft and his community is reflected in every project he leads.
